Every penny will help

Hello my name is Steven Keslar. Im pleased to say that I started this blog to try and help family's that cant afford there medical bills and To help pay for the stuff that could make a huge difference in a childs life. For me it all started with my cousins son Corban. He needs braces for his legs to reduce pain and help him walk strait! But Corban's insurance wont pay for them. His family has been struggling to come up with the money to pay for them. They have set up fundraisers and applied for assistance through places like shriners with no luck. Corban's family has come up with around $300 dollars that has been donated by family and friends. The braces he needs cost around $2,000 and he will have to have them replaced every 6 months for the next 2 years. So now I ask for your help. You can make a difference in this childs life and many others with just a small donation.Every penny will help. All profits will go to a family's like this one. So please help corban and his family and donate. we will be working on sending donation receipt to peoples E-mails. So if you do donate please send us an E-mail with the amount you donated to: stevenkeslar@gmail.com so that we can get a receipt to you and a photo of the child receiving your donation. Thank You from Caring Four Kids and The children your helping

  1. Thanks Steve. So you know when people donate through the donate paypal button it says their name and how much they donated so you are able to contact them back that way. However you need to find out about tax stuff, I have been told unless you have a specific type of bank account or fund set up then it is purely from their heart, and it is not tax deductible. If you are successful after we are set you should look into donating to the Wheel to walk foundation, they provide braces, wheel chairs, ramps, walkers and all kinds of stuff to kids that have been denied by insurance, I am hoping we will get assistance from them and it would be great to give back to that foundation!

  2. Correct, you need to have a non profit 503k set up for it to be tax deductable, you may be able to set up a medical trust fund at your bank. My thoughts are with you guys. makaylas first year alone was over 200k it sucks. But, its worth it!
